Just wanted to stop by real quick and say that Thursday and Friday went wonderfully for the most part! I played with the kids so hard that both my knees are super bruised, no one fought with me, I passed moments chatting with the grandparents, an uncle who lives in Germany showed up and was incredibly nice, etc etc etc

You should just not even let their BS phase you anymore. It's clear that they have no grasp of what decent treatment of another human being is, and any insult they would pay you just shows the problems THEY have.

See, this is why I couldn't POSSIBLY do Erin's job, because if someone came up to me and said that, without missing a beat I would have replied, "Yeah, well, in America we believe that French people are supposed to be snobby and rude and cowardly.
