YES. The drama has been really annoying me lately, but I've been fumbling for the right words. You had all of them. You totally nailed how I feel about this. (Keith Olbermann did a Special Comment that was pretty good as well, if you haven't seen it.)

Thank you for telling me about that. I don't watch any of the news commentary shows at all. I wouldn't have seen that otherwise. That was fantastic.

I don't think any single-religion-religious center is appropriate near ground zero. But this mosque is two blocks away, and my issue is: if two blocks isn't a 'decent' distance, then what would be? Are we supposed to get a mathematical compass and declare a certain radius of Manhattan to be a mosque-free zone? Because that WOULD be unconstitutional.
