So I'm sad today because my fabulous sparkly glitter go-go boots came yesterday and I can't take them with me to burning man =(.....they started shedding glitter as soon as I put them on and while the glitter loss was minimal I still don't want to risk it....plus they were just a tad small around the calf and I had a hard time getting them zipped

I have glitter shoes that shed like MO-FO's when I got them, but you can buy clear schellac at OSH and give them like five coats, and they should be fine. It's a tough call though - this did not work on a pair of boots that I did a home-glitter job on because all the glitter and schellac chunked off around the ankles and I wanted to cry. It totally worked on a pair of silver heels I have, but I'm not sure if that's because there are fewer joints/bending spots involved or if because they were professionally glittered
