First,random thoughts: I always feel weird about posting in here cuz I only have two friends (Hi Donald and EH)and so like I write in here but I "know" that only like two people are gonna read it and I feel lame...I needed to get that off my chest ( Read more... )

1. I'm horrifically behind in LJ reading and Burning Man planning.

2. I'm gonna go to my storage space and get my BM outfit box next weekend. I'll see if there's anything in there you might be able to use.

3. I'm a fat ass this year.

2. SWEET....UR awesome. Although I'm leaving this Fri. for a week long cruise in Alaska so I'll be out of commission from the 4th to the 11th...

5. Ben ROCKS!!! side note: "Franklin" (my kitty) and "Dave" have the same vet....I had a random conversation with the vet tech last week RIGHT AFTER she got off the phone with Ben who was making an appt. for DAVE...and then all the dots were connectected and I realized that Jill is the vet you were talking about that lives across the street from your parents....just another way that we are cosmically related =).

5a. Definitely....it's just making sure everything is secure that we have to worry about...but no seats to remove or other dimension constraints to worry about.

5. We were talking about you at dinner the other night and Ben was like "OMG you and Leslie really ARE connected in a 100 different ways because we go to the same vet!!"

5a. He said that it's a short bed, but his Tahoe wasn't the XL or whatever the giant sized one is, so I think it'll be okay. He has a back seat in the cab, but we can totally make it work.

Join the Burning Man community here on Livejournal. You'll make tons of friends. Go to some of the local burning man events, though I'm not sure how many more there will be before the burn .. and EH has plenty of friends (like me, gosh darnit) she'll introduce you to once you get out there.

Half the fun of the event is just going out on your own and making new friends. Come by Hair of the Dog lounge and find me ... I'll introduce you around. Any friends of EH's is a friend of mine - after all - she totally only hangs out and knows the cool people like us :-)

Thanks...I actually joined the LJ Burning Man group last year but I never post anything there so I don't think I'm noticed =p.

EH definitely introduced me to many of her BM homies last year....I may have already met you??? We definitely went by Hair of the Dog a couple of times...

EH actually said she saw me and I said, " You're gonna have to remind me that you saw me here. I am reallllly fucked up." So we have met already, but I just may not remember:-)

If you hung out at HOTD for awhile, you may have made it back to my van (aka Large Marge) for a smoke and a chill - it kinda becomes the unofficial hang out of the camp.
