Hey hey everyone! I'm stuck in a seemingly unending cycle of working through the week and going to weddings all weekend. For this weekend my friend asked me to do a popcorn bar so I have made like, GALLONS of various kinds of popcorn. I now have more than will fit it the trunk of my car. What is my life.
I have no real news, except to say that I have written enough words to count as a chapter of fic, and they are out for beta-ing with the lovely saucydiva. This morning I picked slightly at a spot by my cuticle and the entire fingernail of polish popped right off. That was weird, but it's not exactly worth me telling you about. Even though I just did.
I am currently in the movie theater watching trainwreck. Or waiting for it to start I guess. I am drinking a margarita at the suggestion of one if my patients and eating a ton of chicken nuggets at my own request. There are so many people here compared to the last few movies I've seen. (Admittedly they have all been magic mike...)
I had a very very very bad day today. This weekend is my friend sinead's bday and my soulmate in Arby's owning/bad decision making Robert will be in town. I've also had a lady from the knot contact me re: makeuping to advertise my services. So things are looking up. It's hard to top sobbing all morning so. There's that.
I hope you enjoy the movie. I've heard good things. I'm so sorry you had a bad day. *hugs* Enjoy your margarita and laugh your butt off tonight. *hugs again*
i've had quite a horrible week all thanks to my boss but i've been trying to cheer myself up with wine, gummy bears, chris evans' face and google hangouts about arrow. i have yet another paper due tuesday that i haven't started yet. i finished studying for today (and for this class) and will spend the night reading fic first then my book.
Oh I really need to get back into Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries, I watched the 1st season with my mum, but for some reason haven't gotten any further. I will always love anything that Essie Davis is in ;)
Are you just watching the ice dancing or do you get involved??
The first few eps of S1 of Miss Fisher was a bit of a slow burn for me. I think because you have to pay such close attention to everything and everyone. Then something just clicked and I got hooked. You should definitely keep going!
I'm watching the ice dance. I have a few friends who are coaching and competing, and my BFF is a skating photographer. Plus it's in a gorgeous little town that's hosted the Winter Olympics twice (Lake Placid), so the scenery and mountains are really lovely.
I have heard of Lake Placid, but the name does always remind me of this Aussie movie called The Rage in Placid Lake, its all about this guy call Placid Lake, has Rose Byrne in it, I really enjoyed it. I went ice skating when we were in Montreal, it was so much fun, something I've not done since I was a child.

You will have more room for popcorn if you take all the knives out of the trunk.

That is also a good combination of cheer-up devices. A night of fic before schoolwork is a well spent night.

DO YOU NEED ME TO PUNCH HIM
I haven't read fic in a while, this sounds like a wonderful plan.
