Hey folks!

I have an important question - can you take a baby to the movie theater? Because there are like four movies I'd like to see this summer and I just don't know if that is something that is socially acceptable.

I'm still making my way through Mad Men - I just watched "The Suitcase"! Wow. And this Stan that everyone speaks of has just been introduced as a character and so far he's kind of a douche.

My in-laws left last Sunday and I am glad to be getting my house back. Though now camp training is starting up and all the staff are arriving and slowing down my precious internet. Youths.

They're changeable little things. Don't get too used to anything. Or smug, heh.

The Suitcase was my favorite MM ep. And Stan gets much, much better. Though I have to admit I liked him even when he was a mega douche.

YOUTHS. When does camp officially kick off?

I'm glad he gets better! I need Peggy to have someone who respects her

Staff training starts out tomorrow, and then the first session of campers arrive the 28th, I think. This will be my first summer in a long time not working, but I'm going to try to still hang out with people and be involved in the community (also I really want to keep up with the camp gossip)

Yes, she does! And his development arch happens very naturally, which is great.

Gotta keep up on any/all gossip. Plus I bet everyone will want to coo over Maple Baby.

There is always so much gossip, I love it, but that is bound to happen with 100 odd college age people in one place.

And yeah, maple baby has already been quite popular - which is nice, I can just walk up the road anytime I am tired and there will be a bunch of people willing to hold him for a while.

Damn youths. I was an old cranky person when I was a youth.

There used to be a theater near me that had "Crybaby Matinees," where on Wednesday mornings they'd show a new movie and parents could bring their babies.

I just looked up my local theater and I don't think that they have those, but it's small enough that I bet if I go to a matinee after a movie has been out for a while there probably won't be that many people there!

That is such a great question. Would they make you buy a ticket for the baby, even though they don't understand abstract concepts like screens yet?

Ooo good question, I don't know! Maybe they'd charge if the baby was taking up a seat? That's how the airlines do it.

Nah, I'm sure they wouldn't charge for a babe in arms.
