Waffle on a stick definitely worth it, I went the traditional maple syrup but you could also get chocolate, caramel, strawberry. It was good :) Actually ended up eating all foods on the stick that day. Also a tornado potato, or some people call them twisted potatoes, then we had chicken kebabs sticks for dinner. Yeah for all the foods on a stick :)
Hey folks, hope everyone is well on this fine Thursday evening!
Last weekend I got to meet up with stars_inthe_sky and scullyseviltwin and we crafted and ate delicious homemade pizza and discussed what an amazing time all of you are about to have at ParksCon.
Then it snowed another foot or so, and we had more snow days and I'm pretty sure these kids are going to be going to school until the end of June.
This weekend husband and I are going to a two-day party for a friend's 30th birthday where apparently everyone who is attending the party has already been divided into teams and we will be competing in some form of olympic-style games (I will definitely be the only sober person in attendance at this event).
Also I started watching Black Mirror and it is messing with my head! Has anyone else seen that show? It's freaking me out!
I think we've had maybe 4 or 6 snow days (I can't really remember) and we've had a bunch of two hour delays. I think the cities further south though have had it worse - I don't think Boston had school at all this week.
I usually chop down two trees, so that I can fashion them into skis that I can then take to work - it's the best way to start your morning.
I'm going to go work on my Galentine's Day projects now. I don't really know what I'm doing with them. Some of the responses make it very easy to guess who submitted them. Others are very difficult, as in, people are claiming not to know me or just leaving entries blank. Some I have what I think are reasonably good guesses. I assume everyone has already forgotten what they put on the forms; I know I would have. Some people don't know what nouns are, which alarms me a little.
My new driver's license came today. Not a picture I'm particularly fond of. It's the rare picture in which I think I look old. Freaking aging.
Today started the stretch of "how many free meals can Laura get this week," starting with lunch. Tomorrow is dinner and Sunday is another lunch. And before we know it, I'll be all bundled up meeting many of you lovely souls. Yay!
I am impressed that you can cut your own hair...I'm getting my hair trimmed before leaving Brasil! I think I'm going to grow it out a bit. LOL, every time I try to do that, whenever it gets to the point where it actually touches my shoulders, I feel like Rapunzel...so, we'll see how well that works out!

WAFFLE ON A STICK?! WANT.
Also...your Valentine's sounds like fun. Hope things work out with the potential boy, but it sounds like it'll be a good time no matter what!

Actually, now I wonder, when do we think Leslie started GD? I'm thinking junior high.

And good question about the Galentine's Day - I bet you are right, junior high would definitely be the right time to start that up.

Tonight I plan to eat some french fries, and then cut my own hair. Tis all.

Can you cut my hair too? It desperately needs it.
