To get things started, let me go first:

Parks is probably the reason I got into cross-stitching. These are the stuff I've done. Can a depressed person do these? NO.

My first 'big' project, Leslie's immortal words that I posted on my fridge. Took me about 2 days.

I don't think I've seen the slogan one before! I love the colors, although the copy editor in me aches to fix it.

Is it hard to design cross-stitch patterns? Yours are so cute!

That's the point of it, haha.

I usually just google stuff and copy and paste things I like together. There are a lot of programs that allows you to do them, or you can basically use excel, but the ex-pixel-painter in me like to do stuff pixel by pixel.

I love your cross-stitch stuff. I have the one you gave me up on my corkboard at home, and it still makes me smile every time I see it.

So, despite having figured out a while ago that I could, I have yet to knit anything related to Parks. Yet.

I did, however, get started on my thank-you card for the cast, crew, and creatives! I'm still working on what I want to say, but here's what I've got so far...

An unintentionally long trip to Michael's to browse and brainstorm generated the following haul: brown corkboard, off-white posterboard, glitter tape, alphabet stickers, autumnal stickers, and a burgundy pen.

Yeah, I was wandering the scrapbooking aisles for like twenty minutes thinking I'd end up with something hyper-patriotic, but as soon as I saw those stickers, I POUNCED. I didn't even notice the raccoon initially, I just saw the owl and had to have it.

Like I said, anyone is welcome to the leftover supplies...if you're willing to come pick them up in person ;D

I have been digging through old tumblr posts to find my fandom crafts, so I'm just going to post a link to the tag: #insane fandom crafting with stillscape.

Also, I have received (but cannot find pictures of at the moment and am tired of searching through tumblr for): a waffle necklace and a Traegerbot notebook from craponaspatula (my notebook says DEAD), the above-pictured cross-stitch from angelica_rules, a cross-stitch fridge magnet from ryeloza, and a crocheted condescending turtle from saucydiva. Obviously all of these things are adorable and I love them.

Oh man, I was like, I never did a Parks craft, but I DID. The turtles. HELL YEAH

Who do I have to sleep with to get one of Stillscape's owls?

I've done quite a few crafty fandom things in the past year, but nothing recently. That should probably be corrected.

My first big crafty project was these magnets that I made for the lovely ratherdance for her birthday. I've made a couple other magnets since then, but I can't find pictures right now, which is frustrating. (In part because I don't know if I'll ever be able to recreate that Mouse Rat one I made unless I see it again.)

I followed that up by cross-stitching Parks scenes onto mason jars for presents for the holidays last year. I'm thinking about doing something for the holidays again this year, but I have to work out my level of ambition this year. I think I made about 16 gifts last year.

Then I made Parks and Rec Clue for saucydiva for the Leslie's b-day exchange (I actually still have a picture of this one!).

that clue game IMHO still is the most genius thing ever done.

The craziest thing is that Parks Clue is the second TV-themed board game I've made, so I've been that nutty twice.
