Right?! I'm glad you see the humor in this. I mean, it was a joke because I write horrible stories and it would allow me to participate. Even better...

I also saw it mentioned on tumblr that someone was doing 3 sentence stories. Now THAT should be a theme challenge!!!

I hate bad ficathons. I find the ~bad fic~ thing okay now and then, but mostly it's self-congratulatory and condescending and really there to mock and shame fic writers. We all know if we've found a bad fic, no need for the circle jerk.

I'm not complaining. I'd much prefer the return of Community on Thursdays than reruns of Parks.

Now, if this bleeds over into next season, NBC and I will have a problem.

honestly, it's a bit of a bummer that this community is Leslie/Ben specific, as it's the best Parks community on livejournal.

We could talk bacon and other foods, but it would also be fun to discuss other Thursday shows during the hiatus. Basically a Free For All of sorts. I'm willing to bet everyone who posts here also watches Community, The Office, Up All Night and 30 Rock. I'm not saying everyone enjoys them, but they probably watch them.

If I HAPPENED to ACCIDENTALLY post something vaguely Leslie/Ben related on say, oh, Thursday nights, then could anyone REALLY STOP that post from getting CRAZY OFF-TOPIC? Hmm?

The Office is taking up a space there where it shouldn't. I know it's the highest rated right now, but I wish they would let it end, give it time to do a nice wrap-up and finale. Then give the deserving Parks its space.
