I liked child!Bella's nose more than teen and up!Bella's. What happened, Maxis?

Kaylyn is HAWT in s3.

I totally want to answer one of the requests but my smut writing FAILS.

Haha, I'm the opposite. I adore her teen/adult nose. It's all little and button-y. Also, I get the feeling that children's faces aren't as detailed or something? Because there's a lot of MAGIC that happens to Kaylynn's eyebrows between child and teen.

I KNOW. I like that she's still somewhat awkward looking despite the hotness, too.

DO IT ANYWAY. You'd be anonymous! Also, even if it is the WORST SMUT EVER it's STILL SMUT. So it's a total win-win situation. DOOOOO IT!

Awww... you're making me want to start up a new Sunset Valley just so I can play these guys. <3 They've all grown old and died in my current town, lol.

Evil Kaylynn is WIN. :D I always find it so hard to choose Evil as a trait for sims (except the Beakers that I made in CAS) but I think it's a hoot when the game chooses it! I had one little boy that I hadn't played since birth roll Evil AND Coward. THAT is a hilarious combination!

I doubt I'll ever actually sit and play these guys for real. I'd first want story progression off, but I'm not downloading anything to my sister's comp. But OH MAN I love this canon.

They're adults in my main game. I run into them from time to time and squeal.

Yeah, I am lame and like... never pick negative traits for my sims. I LIKE THEM TOO MUCH. D:

I noticed that I wasn't giving my sims any "negative" traits either, so in order to make myself give some variety, I've started making myself roll random whenever I get to choose a new trait.

I use http://www.random.org/ and choose to roll between 1 and 64. Since there's 63 traits, I still have a chance of being able to choose my own if it rolls 64.

That's not to say that if I have a specific career in mind for them, I won't take a bit more control. Such as when I made a criminal, I made them evil, kleptomaniac, mean spirited, genius, and computer whiz. That one was a ton of fun to play, he hated EVERYONE!

That's probably a good idea, but I AM SUCH A CONTROL FREAK.

Also, I usually use a fanciful graphing calculator that I have not used since high school to gimme random numbers.

Haha, he sounds like he'd be both insanely fun and kind of awful to play all at once! Did he find love or did he die alone and evil?

I put him in the criminal career track, he got to know one of his co workers and they were perfect for each other. If it was Sims 2, they would have been 3 bolters.

Those pictures are lovely! I'm playing with low settings at the moment, so my sim's faces often look weird when they are outside (and they get distorted if they're close to a pond... there goes my idea for some cute pictures I had in mind). Thanks for sharing them!

Ha! She really rolled evil on her own?! LOL! See? My theory totally makes sense now!

(Truth to be told, I think the traits are assigned randomly by the game when the NPCs grow up, but in MY game they're totally following the canon :P. I just aged Mortimer to a teen and had to assign him the "genius" trait because his parents both rolled the "wish" to see their son become one -and it makes sense because he's a Knowledge sim in the Sims 2. Bella aged on her own, though, and she rolled "great kisser", perfect for a Romance sim. )

I turned up the graphics just for this picspam, We usually have them set much lower now, to make it all go faster and not lag. But I wanted really high quality for references, so I bumped 'em all up while doing this.

She did! She also rolled handy when she went from a kid to a teen. I don't remember what Bella and Mortimer rolled at all though. I wasn't really paying attention, since I was just going to delete the hood anyway.

Well I kept switching houses to get all the shots and speed up time so I could force them to have birthdays and it came up that they all grew up 'mediocre' so they rolled randomly. I hear if they grow up badly they get stuck with negative traits? But I'm not sure.

Hee! That's so neat that your game is following canon! I think Bella got something really dumb like 'angler' for one of her random traits. XD

Bella and Morti are both pretty dreamy, but I'm not too into Kaylynn. I liked her better in Sims 2, with her crooked nose.

Speaking of, Mortimer's crooked nose is fabulous. I think I'll be playing around with his genes in my game. He's tasty.

*rant warning*

Why is the clothing so pixelated? I hate it. You have the graphics all nice and tasty here and they still look like poo. They're worst than anything in Sims 2. Do you just need a super magically awesome graphics card for it to look okay, or is it just how it is?

*grumble*

Okay, I'm fine now. :P

What are you using to screencap? Irfanview doesn't work with it, so I've just been using the in-game camera, which isn't so bad.

I agree that Bella and Morty are total hotties. I kind of dig Kaylynn, but she also reminds me of someone and I can't think of WHO but I think it's someone I'm not to fond of? I don't know. Looking at her makes me flinch a bit.

SOME BITCH MADE A COMMENT ABOUT MORTY'S NOSE BEING AWFUL ON SIMSECRET AND I ALMOST PUNCHED HER IN THE E-VAGINA.

I don't know about the pixelated clothing either! Part if it might somehow have to do with the graphics settings (the Sims were upped to max, but some of the background/textures might have been lower?). But I think even with them bumped up, they're still pixelly and it bugs me a lot.

Just using the ingame camera and then cropping shit in photoshop and tweaking the brightness/contrast just a bit.

The lighting in TS3 is not the best for picture taking BTW.
