I'm SICK AND TIRED of people saying "Jeff's been an asshole lately because he hasn't been around Annie as much," or "It is OBVIOUS the writers have been trying to keep them separated" ... WHAT THE FUCK!? DO ANY OF THOSE PEOPLE WATCH THE SHOW AT ALL!? HE HASN'T BEEN NEAR ANYBODY (except Troy during the last ep) THROUGHOUT THIS SEASON!!!
STOP THINKING YOUR SHIP IS THE CENTER OF THE SHOW. COMMUNITY MOVES FORWARD WITHOUT THE NEED OF A SHIP DOING IT TOO. ASLDUKHADILS.
AND THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY "BUT ROMANCE IS IMPORTANT TOO!!" WHEN MFBGDKFIU I CAN'T EVEN FINISH THAT SENTENCE *super pissed*
Worst thing is, I DO ship Jeff and Annie, and these wackos will surely turn it into a Zutara, or something shitty like that. *RAEG*
Sorry... I'd been bottling that one up for a while... Also, my cable cable company fucked me up and now I can't watch any of the networks I used to watch (THEY TOOK CARTOON NETWORK FROM ME!! CARTOON FUCKING NETWORK!!!)
TBH I do really love Jeff/Annie as it has happened in the actual show. I think it's honestly been handled almost perfectly and while this season has felt off, I don't think it has anything to do with a lack of J/A. So much as it has to do with a lack of Jeff/PEOPLE HE LOVES
( ... )
Last night I treated myself to a mini-marathon of the last 7 episodes from season one. You know, the ones where Jeff and Britta's relationship reaches a peak. There's also the Chicken Fingers episode, where we get to see one of the most meaningful talks between Jeff and Abed "I'll help you connect with people, and you help me do a better job with them" (or something like that).
So much as it has to do with a lack of Jeff/PEOPLE HE LOVES.This is exactly what's been happening. The thing with community is that we got to know Jeff during last season. Most of the B plots were about the other characters interacting with each other, while Jeff had his own personal growth on the A plot. This season has been moe like... shifting the spotlight to the other characters and their interactions, leaving Jeff with nothing to do. Which AGAIN, is confusing, because he IS the MAIN CHARACTER

It makes me so sad that Zutara is the posterchild for crazy shippers. We're not all bad.
But for the most part, I agree.
