I happened to stumble across this post and I felt the need to comment. Please do not attempt to learn how to use a shotgun or an axe, that would be dangerous and I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself or someone else. I also encourage you to avoid hitting your neighbour with anything unless you are actually one hundred percent certain that he's planning on attacking you. That being said, perhaps the most prudent course of action would be to accept the offer of protection you've received.

No, I do not believe that we know each other. Though I'm fairly certain we both go to WMHS; I'm a senior there. Regardless, I was just concerned when you mentioned the use of both a shotgun and an axe. I felt it would be irresponsible of me to not comment.

I'm glad that my concern was apparently not needed. Given the situation, your plan sounds reasonable.
