It's one of the main italian papers, and one of the few that don't belong to the premier. They say the victims could be over 1000. I can't even imagine 1000 persons all together. ;_;

Yes, over 1000 is what I've heard so far too. I hope there aren't more than that though, which I think might still happen anyway if the warnings they issued after the first tsunami/earthquake is anything to go by.

With those huge, powerful waves, I'm kind of worried we'll have a lot of little Atlantis-like happenings.
