WHAT YOU HAVE A PS2? I shouldn't be surprised since most people have one but still, must be because I'm still living in the PSX ages

BUT IT'S JUST GATHERING DUST BECAUSE I SPEND MOST OF MY GAMING TIME ON THE PC. T_T Our PSX still works though! XD

Sigh. PS3, Xbox, Wii, PSP, DS---I can't keep up! ;_; Thankfully I'm not an avid gamer, or else I'd be spending twice as much money as I do now for games AND cds/dvds. @_@

Me too! Because I download emulators and stuff then play everything on PC Xd

I rather not spend money on games, because they're kinda shortlived to me, I either beat them in a few days or get bored by them after a short while. Except for Sims 2, but I got that off the net

Haha! True true. Emulators rock. It was so nostalgic playing the SNES version of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the PC. XDDD OH NO my age betrayed me! XD

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. omg You HAVE to find them and play them again! It gets easier once you're used to how things work in the Myst universe. XD I played Riven first all those years ago, and it was the only one I used a walkthrough for. I felt like I was cheating myself out of the whole Myst experience though, so I didn't use a walkthrough for the other Myst installments. XD SOme puzzles just made my brain turn to mush to the point where I'd stop playing for a couple of days just so I could have a fresh look at things when I got back.

OH but if there's one Myst installment that you have to play, I'd recommend Myst IV. Verrry nice graphics (as always XD) and a great plot that explores the story of Atrus' two sons even more. But of course, it's always better to play the games in order, so you get the gist of how the whole story revolving around Atrus & his family goes ( ... )

yes you are right!! i need to find those games again...unfortunelty we have moved 3 times since then...so yeah i just need to buy them all again.
arrrgg i didn't know there was so many now!! back when i played it, there was only Riven, Myst and Myst II...ok ok...i need to find them cheap somewhere, buy them and play them until i die from my brain leaking out of my ears and nose..lolsome of those puzzles where soooo hard. I had a little note book where i used to write everything in it just in case i would need it for later lol.

now i wanna play it :-(

The world of Myst is sooo enchanted and beautiful and scary

They probably still sell it in your local software store or something, if it's too expensive online. I recently dropped by the store where I buy my Myst PC games, and they still had the 10th Anniversary box set for sale-- realMyst (or enhanced!Myst), Riven & Myst 3. PLUS, my Myst VI also came with Myst III (which I was a little annoyed at, because I had bought Myst III on its own when it came out :\). Myst V Limited Edition has the most beautiful packaging, although I don't know if it's still available.

The only thing I haven't finished is Uru, because my PC crashed twice (not because of the game) and I was just too lazy to reinstall it and recover my save files, lol. Gameplay made me dizzy because of the 360-degree PoV, and it was really meant to be the foundation for an online version, but unfortunately they discontinued it (twice!). I guess there aren't enough Myst fans to keep it going ( ... )

Hi!!!

we just talked at X-files xD I came here not to spam the OP... xD I'll add you right now~~ there's no x-philes in my f-list too bad!

is also great you're the one behind silly_disco! I've heard of it (a loooong) time ago and some days ago I just found you have lots of doa. And I completely forgot to come back to take it xDDD *runs over there*

HELLO! ♥ It's so awesome (not to mention rare) to find someone who likes X-Files and jmusic too!

Ahaha yeah, I run silly_disco. :) It used to be a rotation, but after a hiatus & revamp, it became an archive where I can dump all my music & concerts. Which reminds me, I have to make MF mirror links for the doa discography, LOL. ^^;

I seriously thought I was the only one xDDD

I've been listening to them, I really like them. Don't get me wrong, I really like some visual kei bands but sometimes it makes hard to listen to other bands who don't have such a shocking image~ oh well :3

Haha I like VK too, but I think somewhere along the way, my taste in music got mellower (I can't stand screamo VK like I used to).. and now I'm addicted to Johnnys. XDDDDD

Really, X-Files & jrock make a pretty strange combination. XD
