WHAT WHY DIDN'T I SEE NIJIGEN ORGEL WHEN I PREORDERED ZERO FROM HMV AT THAT TIME D:D:D:
But haaaay it's okay to be a gaming nerd =3 Now I'm addicted to Final Fantasy A2 thanks to FFTA (which I used to play over and over again lawl) And occasionally I'll get nostalgic and play those Pokémon and Digimon games lawl
XDD My only experience playing FF is 1 hour's worth of FF9, watching my sister play FF4 and my ex play FF8. I'M SUCH A CHICKEN WHEN IT COMES TO REAL-TIME BATTLE. I prefer the much less stressful turn-based battle system. ^^; But I love the music (and I have the piano collections of FF4-10, looool).
Er, since I still get confused by ameblo, I'll just contact you here. ^^;
MOMOoooo I want to send you a Christmas card! If it's alright with you, please leave a comment here; it's the stickied post at the top of my journal. ^^ thanks thanks! :D
O____O You like Myst??? God, that's like, the only computer game series I seriously ever played. How many parts does the series have, all in all? <.< We have the first Myst and the sequels Riven and Exile. Still haven't completed Exile because the graphics tended to jam our computer. -___- I yet have to try it on our iMac... But, yeah. ^___^ It's a kick-ass game. And as for the 'what game world would you like to live in' question, I'd definitely choose Riven.
OMG ANOTHER MYST FAN! WE'RE A RARE BREED (apart from the ones amassing in Mystf forum and such)! I only know like 1 other person in RL who likes it.
I first learned about Myst when I saw my cousin playing it. I couldn't understand a thing he was doing, lol (well, I was 10 at the time, so.. XD). The first one I actually played was Riven, and it totally drew me in. *_* But I abused the walkthrough though. But I'm proud to say that I finished the ones after that without a walkthrough!♥ Because I realized that it didn't make me enjoy Riven as much as I could have if I had done it myself. ^^;
*GASP* Playing Myst without a good video card is sacrilege! But I heard it plays smoother on a Mac (but I wouldn't know because I don't have one), so you can try that. Exile is one of the more straightforward (as "straightforward" as Myst can be XD ) games in that you sort of have a clear path to follow (once you figure it out).
Aaa, I so need those other parts, too... T___T After I finish Exile, that is. <.< I never really played the first Myst, either. Well, not all the way because my sister&Dad had already solved that one (they had to play it three times through before they got to the 'right' ending xD). So yeah, it was Riven to me, too... with the unfortunate abuse of the walkthrough. >< I got really impatient when I found myself stuck.
I took a look at Revelation through that link you posted. Looking good! I'm definitely suggesting that to Dad, since he likes the games as well (we're the computer nerds in the house xD). And again I'm with you, it looks like a really nice place to live... Especially the houses in Tomahna are so pretty~ ^^

Myst has 5 installments: Myst (or RealMyst, the re-issue), Riven, Exile, Revelation, and End of Ages (;o;). ( ... )
