How funny! It was the opposite at my high school. The dance team was comprised of idiots that didn't have coordination enough to HIT motions sharply, or just sucked in general. We didn't even HAVE a dance team (it was a brand new school my sophomore year), so they created one because they DIDN'T make cheer. It was the same for a majority of the girls on the soccer and volleyball teams, as well.

I am in NO way calling you an idiot or saying that dance sucks, btw. This was just the case at my high school, and they were all HUGE bitches because they thought they were so cool for making their own dance team and getting it accepted through the school. They also had UGLY outfits, and didn't have the cute "poms" outfits you guys have.

I wanted to be a cheerleader so bad in high school.
I kind of regret passing that opportunity up :(

I was on the dance team, which was a little bit different (and way more fun), but I'm so glad I was on it.
