Wow, I don't think that I ever read this!
I know some of the books/authors that you listed, but others I'm unfamiliar with. I think that you have a good list though.
I'm glad that you decided to list children's books. For me, the most important influence on my life has been junior and young adult fiction ("A Wrinkle in Time," the "Narnia" series, "Harry Potter," "Ella Enchanted," "The Westing Game," among others).
I don't know that there are picture books that have really influenced me. However, I did have some favorites as a child, including "The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses," "The Sweet Touch," and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." But overall I forget many of the books that I read as a kid. I think it's easier to remember what I read in elementary school, middle school, and high school.
Anyway! Thanks for this list!
