I accidentally told someone I was in Milperra the other day. I say accidentally because I didn't actually know where we were, and the someone wanted to know how long it would take us to get to his house. So I asked Brad, "Where are we?" and he said "Milperra" and I unwittingly wrote that in my reply text, without even thinking about it.
Brad is one of those evil conspirators who insists that Milperra does exist, even though I've told him countless times why we know it doesn't. He has supposedly driven me through it several times, but I'm not sure that I noticed it actually being there. It appeared that we hadn't left East Hills, and then it appeared that we were in Bankstown, and somewhere in all that he insisted we had passed Milperra.
I say, if the place really does exist, why doesn't anyone live there? Certainly no one I've ever seen with my own eyes has a Milperra address, and I would be suspicious of anyone who claimed they did.
Sometimes people make fake addresses so you don't know where they live, and can't post them wedding invitations. I suspect that the majority of these fake addresses are in Milperra.
