That's all I was going to do with mine until I became addicted ... I really don't know how it happened, but it all started by making fun of LJ through the diary of a rat. Then it snowballed.

Thanks for the shout out ... I'm glad some people find my rants and soapbox missives entertaining :)

Stay in touch, too ... we still have a chess game to play!

D'oh. I'd completely forgotten about that. leprechaungangster [at] yahoo should do it.

White or black?

I was black last time, so I choose white this time around :)

I'll email you shortly.

Yeah dude, you better keep in touch. Otherwise you might miss out on Morimoto, and we wouldn't want that to happen :)

I'm not disappearing, I'm just going to be more in a lurk mode. Which is really what I've been doing the last 4 months anyway. Major events will be posted as warranted. :)

"Fisking skills".

I know a lot of words, but I had to look up the word "fisk" (apparently it is an obscure word from swedish origins meaning "to hustle about"--who knew?). I resisted the temptation to assume that it was something very, very nasty.

Huh. I didn't know that, either. In blogging terms, it's the practice of alternating quotes from the primary source with snarky responses. See any of Mr. Wistar's Chick Tract dissections or really any of his political and news commentary for examples. The practice started with bloggers dissecting British journalist Robert Fisk, hence the term.

I am very honored that you chose to keep me on your friends list. I know we haven't spoken much lately, and hell, I haven't seen you in ages, but I'd like to be able to change that. It's been far too long, my friend.
