Ugh, you're seriously stopping it right there? :)

Love this. Zuko and Jet had so much freaking chemistry, and it's nice to see how that could have played out. Plus, it's hot. Although the sad part is, I think Jet really might've come to respect Zuko for who he is now instead of who and what he was, but he'd never shut up and listen to him long enough. They're both too stubborn and tempermental for anything stable between them. But this, what you have here...this works.

Yes! I agree! Jet and Zuko could have been really great allies, especially in Season 3, but I don't think Jet would have ever given him a chance once he was like OH CRAP YOU REALLY ARE A FIREBENDER AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME. But if they weren't so stubborn things just wouldn't be the same!

I really love this. I think you completely nailed their characters -- Jet and his charisma, petulance, aggression; Zuko and his indecision. I especially love that Zuko felt like he violated Jet there at the end. That's something I can completely believe, given the circumstances, because Zuko would feel guilty for lying and making Jet believe he's someone else. And I'm glad that Jet didn't just magically get over Zuko being a Firebender somewhere in the middle, despite how heartbreaking that ending was (AND HOW MUCH I WISH THERE WAS A SEQUEL). Because it definitely isn't something Jet could shrug off. Maybe ever.

I WOULD LOVE TO READ MORE FROM YOU. This was great!

Eeee, thank you so much for this comment, it was great! I always love to hear that I've gotten close to their characters, that's a great compliment to me.
Haha, it would be fun to continue in this vein, but like you said, I'm not really sure that's something Jet can forgive, especially since Zuko lied to him about it for so long. Like I said in the other comment, it's sad because Zuko and Jet could be really great friends, but they could probably never get past who and what they are. Oh, boys.
