Sweden and Egypt

I'm back!

Sweden was really fun. We visited Uppsala (one of Sweden's biggest cities and the one where my friend Karen studies) and Stockholm, and talked and ate lots. And it even snowed! I didn't expect to like the country as much as I do - I like how the landscape and even the cities are so open and vast, and I like the language, the architecture ( Read more... )

I'm glad you decided to go to Egypt after all, I think it's a wonderful country. I once spent a month in Cairo studying and I travelled to Luxor then as well. And I've been there on scuba holidays in the Sinaï several times. :-)

Oh, I didn't know you once studied in Cairo - that's cool!

I'd love to go scuba diving in Egypt at some point in the future. I went scuba diving in Eilat years ago, when things were more peaceful in Israel, and it was so SO wonderful.

Eilat is nothing compared to Egypt when it comes to scuba diving. Places like Dahab and Sharm el-Sheikh have great dive sites, among the best in the world. :-)

Thanks!!

You should definitely visit Sweden once you have the chance! And hey, if you don't, you can always just read Astrid Lindgren, water over Carl Larsson's drawings, and visit Ikea and stuff. ;)

Thanks!

Well, yeah, I only have two subjects, but I'm also supposed to write my thesis, so that's a pretty valid excuse. :) It's going dreadfully bad at the moment, but we'll see, I guess.
