It was such a... weird book. I am still not sure if I liked it or not, but it was one of the most memorable books that I've read as an adult.

I think you're the only other person I know that dislikes That book. I only read about 50 pages and had to put it down. *high-fives*

I loved the book to pieces and I'm sure I'll love the movie too, even though it'll break my heart.

Well I can imagine that introductions like that are always a bit awkward, but it's still nice enough and at least the both of you feel like that. But yay for meeting someone who actually seems nice. Glad to hear that it was such a success :D

I haven't read the book, but I want to, so I'm thinking of not watching the movie till I do read it.
