I'm still very excited for the TRAILER!. Yes, I really am. And it actually looks good and while I'll never OMGADOREALWAYSANDFOREVER Edward, I do like Robert Pattinson as Edward.

Also, I'm getting The Host in at the library tomorrow, so score me. I'm interested in seeing what her take on "adult" books will be.

Well, it's just the teaser so maybe it just couldn't live up to all expectations quite yet? I don't know, I liked it because I have low expectations to begin with.

I don't know, I have serious doubts whether the screenplay/actors can remove the skeevy sexuality issues. But, I'll have to see! I'm also curious how Bella is going to come through. She's a dull as dirt in the book, so maybe the actress will improve this? HMM.

Be sure to post your thoughts about The Host. I'm curious but can't bring myself to read it.

I have no expectations about Bella. I just don't because yep, dull as dirt and like you said, how can you even improve upon that. Not possible. I admit to a certain immediate liking for Robert Pattinson just because of the Harry Potter link and because frankly, I have no expectations for Edward either. He's too perfect. No guy can be that.

Ha ha, I love how people describe him as perfect. Trapped at 17 forever? I wouldn't wish that amount of angst on my worst enemy.

Regardless, I will probably still see this. SIGH! I have no clue where I get this love for horrible storytelling.

I still can't get too excited about any of the cast except Kristen Stewart, who I think is completely perfect. That said, I'm still really looking forward to the movie!

I'm on the waiting list for The Host at my library as well, and am very curious.

See, I don't even care about Kristen Stewart. I don't like Bella all that much, though I do like her the most in the first book. She wasn't who I expected they'd cast but who knows, she may blow me away.

To me, Edward is way to perfect for any real human so I'm just going with it. Plus, I actually do like Robert. :)

I think the trailer looks great! I had super low expectations though so it wasn't too hard to impress me.
