Yeah, HIMYM is awesome. If you've seen last night's episode, enough said. :) Even with James Van Der Beek who I strongly dislike, he still made the episode fun.

Um, yeah so I've been watching a lot of tv recently. ( In fact I just finished S1 of BSG (spoilers) )

tv, graduation 17 may 2008, battlestar galactica, gossip girl, grad school, how i met your mother, birthday

ZOMG, you're watching BSG! That makes me happy. And you like Starbuck! Lol, Sharon is pregnant, which I did sort of think she was using as a ploy to support her own survival, but anyway. The cylons are biological machines, so they have guts and digestive systems and all of that, including reproductive organs. I guess the question would be, is the DNA similar enough for a cylon and human to produce a child together. The answer is apparently, yes. Nobody really knows how they would have accomplished that, but it was cylon technology that made designed the biological machines, so humans just have to accept it ( ... )

Ok, will just accept the pregnancy angle. And it makes sense after you explained it and I know they went over in the show the fact that the cylons have all the lymphatic systems and whatever, blood and such so I guess a natural leap is that pregnancy is a possibility but then I think of the metal cylons and I'm just like... what? no babies!

And thank you for explaining the 2 and 2.5 season. That must have been a moneymaker for the show.

I think James Van Der Beek's hair was supposed to look awful. But maybe not, lol? It was bad though.

Hey :)

I have the same problem with dresses, don't worry. LOL. Have you tried bridal shops? I know it sounds silly, but there are some really pretty, not extremely glammed-up bridesmaid dresses that could do for graduation. I couldn't even find a nice dress for graduation with my Masters, so I went for a skirt and top combo from two different stores. LOL. Keep looking. You'll find it.

Have you tried Kohls if they're in your area?

Yep, I did try Kohls. I think that may have been the store I was forgetting. I think I may try to find a skirt/top combo, keep my eyes open for that. I may end up feeling a titch more comfortable in that versus a dress anyway. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm really glad you like Gaius! He's my favorite, especially in season one. Got to love the crazy, brilliant, accidental cylon collaborator. :D And Six Degrees of Separation is hilarious.

I guess all our nice weather moved over to you guys! It's been cold and rainy (even with hail, too!) over here. I don't mind the rain so much, but it's just way too cold for late April, hmph.

He just seems to fall into trouble but yet, steps out of the muck totally clean! I mean, he's vice president! He's one of God's chosen. I find it totally ridiculous kind of but yet, he pulls it off. I think it was Six Degrees of Separation that tipped me into his camp actually, fan wise, because it was a very good episode for him.

well, the first three weeks of April in Minnesota were awful if that's any consolation. We had snow, cold temps, rain, clouds, and to mix it all up, a very occasional nice day to throw us off track, get our hopes up, and then dash them with more rain.

Yay welcome to the BSG dark side! :D I hope you continue to enjoy it as much as I did! I was reluctant at first but I'm totally hooked (and Starbuck is still my favorite...)

I was reluctant at first too because of the sci-fi angle. I've never been a big fan of aliens/spaceships/space in general, but I find it to be such a character orientated show that that is what has hooked me. I love characters I can appreciate/hate/like/fall in love with. And they are all so pretty, I mean, seriously, it's a gorgeous cast!
