Antics at the vet

I took Toby, my cat, to the vet this afternoon after work. Everything went fine, Toby is healthy and normal for a cat his age.

So, after the exam was over, I just walked out and hopped in my car and drove home.

Upon reaching home however, I realized I had not paid for the exam! So, I call and profusely apologize and the receptionist was very nice ( Read more... )

My friend has done that a couple of times and once when I was with her. We got to her car and I asked her how much the exam was and she realized that she forgot to pay. Not only that, she forgot her wallet on the bench right by the vet's counter. :P

Glad to hear your cat is fine and healthy. :)

Lol, I'm very glad to hear I'm not alone out there in the vet forgetfulness. :)

Don't worry about it! Once my vet forgot to charge me for something for my dog Maggie, and I had to call and tell them. LOL.

All right! Even vets are forgetful, though hopefully not in the crucial moments, lol.

Hmmm.. Well, you have realized your mistake and took action to correct it. That's good.

Well...if nothing else, it's a great story to tell at any time lol. I think we all do absent-minded things sometimes. The important thing is to not dwell on it. Also, you were probably thinking about anything except paying a bill at that moment and in times of stress, we tend to neglect the obvious. I wouldn't feel too bad about it, you're totally not a criminal. I hope your cat feels better!

Yeah, my head was on getting my cat home. He's not accustom to other locales and I just felt bad for him. Luckily everything turned out great in the end, both for me and my cat.
