I know there are a ton of Twilight fans on my flist, so I thought I'd give a little heads up. If you don't want to wait for August 7th and your hardcover edition of Eclipse, you can
read it now if you buy it in ebook. It's $9.99 which isn't bad

BTW, I finally figured out how to get your posts to show up in my mailbox again! Sorry I've been absent from commenting for so long...

I've thought about getting a Home Depot or Menards gift card actually. Either that or a grocery store gift card but maybe he'll like Home Depot better just because if anything goes wrong he may need the money for that more than food.
Thanks for the ideas!

Hmm maybe your brother would like something practical? Like cooking utensils or dishes. IDK. Boys prob. wouldn't like that stuff, but it would be useful if he doesn't have those things.

He just bought a $1600 high def tv and surround sound system. I was like, I don't know how you're going to afford that with a mortgage payment. Yikes.

Maybe since your mom got him the kitchen stuff, you could get him some towels and shower curtain liners (the ones that stay cleaner, longer!) and a plunger. Every house needs a plunger. :D

Oh bathroom stuff, good idea! I think we had both been concentrating on the kitchen, not sure why, we just have been.

Does your brother already have all the essential appliances and stuff? Maybe you could get him a toaster oven? Or a cute doormat? Or a set of dishes or glasses? (Meh, those aren't very original.)

The town home comes fully furnished with stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer, but I thought of getting him one of those George Foreman grills since they won't have a real grill, nor does their minuscule patio really allow for one.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Wow at your brother's house. He must be so excited. As for a housewarming gift... I always tend to buy practical gifts. Gift cards work wonders. :)

I don't get migraines, but anything with artificial fruit flavors give me a headache too.
Growing up, I really wanted to be a dentist
I didn't have much interest in being a doctor, but I always thought if I did, I'd either want to be a dentist or an opthomologist.
Any ideas for a twenty-two year old guy who has never lived without his mom before?
I like a lot of the suggestions already mentioned - gift cards, bathroom supplies. A countertop Foreman grill could be good too. My brother moved out last year when he was 21 and has said if he needs a fast dinner, he'll throw something on the Foreman grill.
