It's over.

Jul 21, 2007 15:10

And I'm still way processing.

I can't believe it's over but I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed every page.

I can already predict a lot of people won't like the book as a whole, but I did and well, that's really all that matters.

But still, how can it be over?

More coherent post maybe tomorrow when I'm not so tired and sad.

Though I have to say that... SPOILERS )

hp book 7, harry potter, spoilers

I started last night about 12:45 am and read all the way through until 5:30 am. Then, I was getting really tired, so I took a nap until 8am, had some breakfast, went for a long walk, and then started reading again at 11:00am and finished at 3:00pm. So, kind of two days I guess. :)

i know what you mean, it just made me happy. and i don't want to over analyze or talk about why they didn't like it. it jst made me happy.

i also cried in like the most random places, like when they were talking about dumbledore knowing ron would need a way back. random.

I KNOW DOBBY OMG. His death was like...wow.

And you cried when Hedwig died? I mean, that was sad but...other deaths were sadder.

It can't be over! It just can't! I loved the final book, but the idea that there won't be any more Harry Potter books hasn't sunk in yet.

And the weird part is, I didn't even like Dobby all that much but wow, he really went out with a bang.

Me too! I always found Dobby slighting annoying and not particularly entertaining, but his death was so sad. Harry burying him like that was the exact right thing to do.

However, Fred's death was the hardest for me. I still can't believe it.

OMG DOBBY! I never really cared for him, but his death impacted me so much. I was in tears in the library when Harry dug the grave. Ugh. I am in disbelief that it is over. :\
