A scary, bittersweet thought but...

Next week at this time, I'll probably have finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. There really will be no more books to look forward to after next week and I'm really, really starting to dread it, and be really saddened by it

Hmm, I'd probably have finished by this point next week too, but I'll probably end up taking a nap halfway through the book and not finish till about 3am Sunday morning like I did during HBP. Since this one is the end though, I may not be able to put it down.

I'm getting sad about it too. But at the moment, the excitement of it all is still winning :)

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'll end up napping or not. I've never done a midnight party before and I know I won't have trouble reading until say 7 or 8am but after that, it may get dicey, lol.

Dude! Make it last. I must be the only Harry Potter crack head, obsessed fan who will probably spend around two weeks reading the book. Haha! I always do. I guess, I just suck.

But it makes me really, really sad too.

There's no way I could even attempt to spend 2 weeks reading that book. I'm going to be itching to turn to the back of the page as it is to see if Harry lives or dies. At least if I do a quick straight read through I can avoid that temptation.

I'm going to re-read it almost right away at a much slower pace though. That's just how I roll with HP, lol.

I have to work next Saturday evening (and probably Sunday as well), so I don't know when I'll be able to really read HP. But I will find a way! Even if it means no sleep... okay, I love my sleep.

I need some HP icons.

Lol, sleep is great, I agree. I might have to take a nap in between my reading unfortunately because while I can stay up half the night, 8am or so might get kind of tough to keep reading if I'm dead tired.

*tear* I wish it didn't have to end. Plus, I'm totally going to miss the "anticipation period" between books. All the buzz, excitement, speculation... it just all contributed to the fandom and the series. I don't know if there's going to be another phenomenon like HP. :(

Exactly! I'm going to miss the anticipation period big time too. At least we'll still have it for the movies, though to me, and you I'm sure, it's nowhere near the same.
