I'm actually enjoying GG a lot this season. I mean, not as much as I did the original four or five seasons, but SO much more than last season at any rate.
My brows are really thick and start to get a unibrow thing going on, so I get them waxed. Plucking hurts too much for me, but waxing, well it's just one or two quick rips and you're done. It hurt a lot in the beginning but now I"m used to it.
Is Rory a senior this year? I know that most of us there would step down from our positions as editors or presidents at either the end of our junior years or at the end of the first semester senior year in order to make room for the new leadership or to make more time for our own senior projects and papers.
And yea for no five hour courses! Is your design class going to be more about the tech side of the internet or the creative side? Either way, it sounds like an interesting course. :)
Yep, she's a senior. I didn't realize that editors and presidents stepped down from their positions part way through the year. It makes sense, but at my school, not an Ivy league one mind you, we did not do that.
I'm not quite sure what it's going to be about. I know there will be some webpage construction, but I think it's supposed to be more of an overview of internet features that library patrons are likely to need help or have questions with.
Have you done my Christmas card entry? I'd really like to send you one!
Ooooo. Christmas cards! I'll swing by right now. And thanks for reminding me to do my own post about Christmas cards. I hope you'll let me send you one as well!
Rory stepped down to make way for the new editor, just like Doyle stepped down midway through his senior year to make way for Paris to take over last season.
I'm thinking about buying Gilmore Girls. I've seen a few episode by accident on tv, and I quite like it! I like how Lorelai is a carazy rambling woman. She reminds me of... me, lol!
Seem like interesting classes you are going to take! And the helicopter chase indeed might be bad for getting back to sleep, but something exciting like that NEVER happens over here, hehe!
Does getting your brows waxed hurt? I've never had it done, actually I don't even wear make-up and all... :s
GG is such a great show, particularly season 1-3, and then 5 (for me anyway). Last season, S6 was terrible in so many ways, but in general, GG is good fun.
For me, getting my brows waxed is the lesser of two evils. Plucking hurts like the devil I think, it just hurts! Waxing... they apply the wax, apply the little tape like paper and then, rip and it's done. Yeah, it's a tad painful, but honestly I'm used to it at this point, and it's pain that quickly goes away as soon as the tape stuff is ripped off. Plucking... my face just stings for hours after doing that (though I maybe in the minority here.)
I have really bushy eyebrows so getting them waxed is the way to go for me. (probably more than you ever wanted to know, right? lol.)

Getting eyebrows waxed and/or tweezed seems very painful to me so I don't bother. It looks good, but it's too much maintenance for my liking. :D
