The end of June means...

Happy Birthday heather13!!
I hope today has been wonderful for you.

So yeah, that rash that I mentioned in a previous post... it's like ten times worse now. I went to the doctor on Thursday and she gave me some cream for it, but honestly, it doesn't seem to have helped all that much. The rash is still spreading. It's all over my arms, it's on my upper thighs now, around my hairline and on my ears and nose, plus all over my hands and neck. It's even on my scalp. It itches like the devil too so I've been knocked up and tired on Benadryl since Thursday in the hopes of relieving some of the itching.

This honestly wouldn't bother me that much if I could just figure out what the hell is causing it!! ARGH! That is what is driving me insane. I haven't changed lotions, detergents, shampoos, anything really so I don't know how this could be happening. I just hope this cream starts to kick in. I took a bath tonight in the hopes that it might help to ease the rash on my skin. It actually seems to have helped a tad, so I might try to bathe daily (besides showering I mean) in the hopes of making this go away faster.

On top of all the itchiness, my period is starting. Oh the joy.

I've started reading David McCullough's 1776 courtesy of queensark's recommendation. So far, pretty interesting. What a banner year that was for the U.S. And really, this is the perfect time to read it as Independence Day is around the corner.

In between bouts of itching today, I watched Pirates of the Caribbean in preparation for next week's opening. I cannot wait. Looks really good. Other movies I want to see include The Devil Wears Prada and Superman Returns, despite the fact that I know nothing about Superman. I need gwenarific to go with me so she can explain all the history of it for me.

Also, despite my sleepiness and itchiness, I've made good strides in cleaning and organizing my room. That's the only thing being laid off has been good for; it's helped to keep my room clean.

Hope Friday was fun for everyone! Enjoy your weekends.

friday, book recs, health, movies
