Where did you pick up this usage of the word "Huzzah?"
To me it is fairly amazing that you saw a dead red fox. I just think of them as being lightning fast. I saw one for all of 2 seconds and gasped that I saw it. It took off so fast.

1. I started using it years ago. I can't quite remember exactly where it came from that I first heard it, but it was an expression of joy-ishness, in short.
Then I went to a Renaissance Festival or two or three and heard the term used there as sort of a 'hip-hip-hoorah!'
::Shrugs:: I like the word, it has a nice feel to it.
2. It's not so surprising, as many vehicles as are on the road and as careless as people are. They are swift little creatures, but sadly not always swift enough to avoid vehicles that are not only traveling 60+mph, but those that purposefully swerve to hit them.
It was nice to see that other one live and well though.
