Bill Hall, the VP for Student Affairs here at OSU (and an inspiration to all of us) passed away today. Although I didn't have the chance to meet him personally, he was such a role model for the students and the student affairs staff.

I don't know if I can take much more of this.

And I can't go to Oklahoma for my uncle's service.

Hey hun - I'm really sorry you're not gonna be able to make your uncle's service. That's hard. I guess the only thing I can say is that you can at least take comfort in the fact that it sounds like both he and your colleague have left legacies and imprints that will be around for a whole lot longer.
