How big are leopard gecko eggs? Do you mean you have box turtles too and have not been successful in hatching eggs from them?

they're about an inch long, maybe about a half inch wide.

and yes, i have box turtles, and i have had zero luck in incubating their eggs. sometimes they stomp on them before i get to them, or they eat them. the ones i do manage to get away from them i think i kill by accident (by turning them inadvertantly).

but the leo eggs still look good as of this morning :D

Oh I see, I was wondering because I don't have geckos but I do have boxies and when I first started getting eggs I did try to incubate them with no luck. Got the whole shebang with the foam ice cooler, the rack, the rubber band nests, digging the eggs up and making sure they weren't turned, rinsing them off and marking the top, the heating element, the temperature gauge....all that money and time for nothing. lol
Nowadays I let it be, and come August-September I check after every rain and lo and behold there are babies! I used to think the ants would get them, but obviously they're only getting the ones that cracked. If they were able to penetrate the shell like I previously thought I wouldn't have so many! haha
I desparately try and keep my males separate from my females because I don't want anymore. Somehow they keep finding each other though, and it only takes one time to get babies for many years afterwards! I'm ready to pull my hair out~
