Axel's been depressed for days, now, and Envy's starting to get pissed off.
"I told you he'd leave," Envy sneers at him, resisting the urge to stomp his foot down the ground, "But did you believe me? Of course not."
Axel shrugs a little, listless, flopped down on the bed like a teenage girl who's been dumped by her boyfriend. Fuck, Envy wishes Roxas was still around so he could kill him, rip him to shreds and take his head off, but of course the stupid little fucked just disappeared. Envy doesn't know if he went back to Sora, and he doesn't care, the two things he wants most right now, even more than to go back to kill Hohenheim some more, is to see Axel stop moping and to break Roxas so bad Sora will feel it. And then he'll tear Sora to shred, too, to make sure the little jackass never comes back.
But he can't do that right now, because both disappeared, and all he can do is try to make Axel stop being so sad. He hates seeing him sad. Axel's the only one who matters. He's the only one who shouldn't be sad, ever. But Envy doesn't
