Yesterday evening, I went to Pasadena w/
casia. Although I wasn't intending to shop, I ended up getting stuff. I got the Freeze shower gel at Lush. It's a good thing I got talked into getting it b/c they are gonna discontinue making those. I really like the smell of Freeze and how it'll wake you up and stuff. I also got this
sweater at J. Crew (the Jade color sweater). I couldn't resist buying it since it felt so comfy not to mention it's something I can wear no matter how hot or cold it is.
Then we had dinner at Hooters. Somehow we were given 20 Samurai Wings instead of 10, and the sweet thing was that we didn't get charged for those extra wings. Every since I started working out and changing my ways of eating, I couldn't eat that many wings thus I let
casia take the rest home. Now a days it seems like I'm starting to take a disliking for heavy/rich foods. It just makes me too full, and I hate feeling that way. I guess my newer lifestyle is helping out a bit. And after about 3-4 weeks or working out (well more of swimming everyday) and changing my ways of eating more/less, I've lost 4 pounds. So I'm on the right track. :)
On the way back home, we went to Tower Records, Borders, and the Galleria where we had gelato. I even snagged myself a Slap Shot dvd.
As soon as I got home, I spent my night watching "Slap Shot". I so can't get enough of that movie!
Today, I went for my morning swim as usual, but sadly it's the last day I'll be using this pool. It'll be closed for the season and it won't re-open until sometime in June. Hopefully I can continue swimming on campus as well as Bally's Fitness Center as soon as I sign up there.
The things I'll miss about this pool: swimming 50 meters back and forth during lap swimming hours, feeling content afterwards, Mary and Carol-the 2 ladies I share a lane with and got acquainted with, the cleanliness of the pool, the cute male lifeguards, Steve (eye candy #1), Matt (eye candy #2), and the music the lifeguards play at times.
Later that afternoon, I got another betta fish. I named him Santi & he's a red betta fish. Prior to going to Petco, I had a bunch of names in mind. I was about to have a poll, but on the way home, the word "Santi" popped into my mind, and I thought that was a good name for my fish.
So far he's been very content in his new home. He even reminds me of Sebastien,
arielchick's red betta fish before he died.
For a while, I've been wanting to get another betta fish, and I finally got him. In fact, I made a drawing of me pretending to meet Adam from The Academy Is...

It's obviously fake. I won't get to see him until Friday. I may mention it to him if I get to meet him. ^__^
While Santi is doing well, I'm worried about Nemo as well as Misty. The past few days or so Nemo has been acting weird. I really hope he's not sick. Even earlier today he acted like he was dying. Hopefully he's not jealous of Santi (they are obviously in separate tanks), but he's prolly missing Spuzzy and Drewsky so much.
Misty on the other hand has been puking quite a bit lately. My dad thinks it's from hairballs (I suspect that too since she's been coughing all weird), so he got her some medicine to prevent her from having bad cases of hairballs). My mom makes me worry more about my cat. She told me that she may not live for anylong. I hate when she says that b/c I tend to worry even more. Hopefully Nemo and Misty are okay... Please pray for them.
I'm still looking for friends to go to Friday's show. I got ahold of
rozalin, but hopefully she can still go... Otherwise, I still need to look for people to go w/ me. I may be to the point where I'll have to start calling people.
Tomorrow, I'll be going to the Kings' Rookie camp. I so can't hardly wait!!! It's been ages since I last met hockey players. I miss my hockey boys so so so much!
Well, I'm gonna end this now. Till then, have a nice and safe holidays.
