I understand where you're coming from. I didn't hate the episode, but it seemed like there was all this build up and then nothing really MAJOR happened. Like it was very anti-climatic and I was worried for nothing almost.
Daryl and Aaaron are gold. I don't think I ship them, but I do like their friendship and Sasha is so heartbroken and she's amazing too.
This season being a cohesive story all hinged on tying up...at least a couple of things in the finale. But they gave us practically nothing. And even more so, because all the execs and a lot of the actors were like THE SEASON FINALE WILL BLOW. YOUR. MIND. YOU WILL BE GASPING, YOU WILL BE SOBBING YOUR HEART OUT.
*Nothing* was shocking. *Nothing* was sad.
Oh, I don't ship Aaron and Daryl (if nothing else, for Beth reasons). But no, I see it as all kindness. It doesn't have to be romantic.
I agree with you, it felt like a very anti-climatic finale. I was expecting major things to happen but it didn't really feel like a whole hell of a lot went down, not really anyway. IDK, maybe next season will be better?

You are absolutely right about that.

(And that is NOT a suggestion to kill more people.)
