I had seen Ric was back on GH, and tried watching a few scenes, but my Ric/Alexis loving heart (they were the OTP that got me started vidding in the first place) couldn't take it.

Yeah, I thought that they were fairly scathing to each other, and that there had been enough references to Molly being 'with her dad' over the years to note that he hadn't been completely absent.

Agreed. I finished the 30 ship meme without realizing and was actually just scrolling through past entries of yours trying to find a good replacement meme to get me posting on a regular basis.

They were always just touching and kissing and it all felt very natural and ad-libbed. With many tv couples, you can tell that they are just going off the script, but she was always plopping down in his lap and playing with his hair and he would sort of absent-mindedly rub his fingers on her back or her arm. They felt like such a real couple.

Agreed. I stopped watching fairly early in the show's run, but I remember I their... I wanna say first date, when some other dude called Jackie a bitch and Hyde punched him, and then later they kissed and Jackie was like, 'eh' and you could clearly see that Hyde's world had been rocked.
