She definitely has PTSD (and what she said to Agron last ep, about her wishing that Crixus hadn't risked himself for something 'already broken').

I love Naevia so much, and I do think she does have her own kind of strength- she's very crafty, having watched and learned from Lucretia all her life, but I do think she's always going to be a little bit more delicate than, say, Mira when it comes to combat.

Thank you so much for reading! I really like the friendship between Naevia and Nasir too, and I have all sorts of fanon running through my head for what they might be up to when Spartacus et al are BURNING DOWN THE ARENA.

Okay, so I love this. I just watched all 13 episodes of Blood and Sand over the weekend in a feverish race to beat out netflix and then I managed to acquire all 5 episodes from this season and I am on such a Spartacus high this week and I have been scouring the internet for Naevia, Naevia/Crixus fic so this is just right on time. And, btw, I kudo'd another of your fics on ao3, like, 30 minutes ago, so there's that. Great job!

OH MY GOD, I AM SO EXCITED!!! I knew if I kept vomiting Spartacus all over my journal, it would eventually catch on someone! (Errrr...am I taking too much credit? Either way, so glad you are watching and that you love it because it is the BEST!) Have you seen all the way through the 5 eps yet?

No, I totally saw a Crixus/Naevia gif you posted and was very interested. LOL. Hot OTPs are definitely my kryptonite, because I'd watched half of the first ep back when it originally aired and it did nothing for me. But, yeah. Your gif, plus once I saw that netflix wouldn't be carrying the first season after this week...I basically had no choice, lol!

I have seen all 5 eps and I CANNOT WAIT FOR FRIDAY!! I am obsessed with Crixus/Naevia so my investment in their reunion is a little ridiculous. Like, I do not know how all those people who had to wait 2 years between the first and second seasons were able to handle it.

Oh, and since you seem to be whipping through it, how do you feel about the abrupt changes for Spartacus and Naevia? Casting-wise, I mean. Like, we *did* have a two year gap, so it's not all so fresh (though I did just do a full-series rewatch last week).

This is so perfect...after what all she has been through, of course she feels broken and undeserving to be alive.

It will take time...and the physical work of learning how to fight is one way of shaking her demons...
