Fandom: Grey's Anatomy Characters: Izzie & Meredith Title: This Song's For The Lonely Rating: pg Word Count: 332 Summary: This part was for her... Disclaimer: ( A vague disclaimer is nobody’s friend. )
I love how you've written Izzie - still lost in the memories of what was and unable to move on, or to let the others move on, either (even in her own mind).
Oh, this made my heart ache for Izzie. Slowly realizing she's the one who's still trying to live in the past.
It’s admitting that she can never go back, and there is a small part of her that wants, hopes, believes that she can go back one day.
This line especially got me. I think we all have this moment in our lives when we realize we have to move on because we can't go back to that time no matter how much we might want to. Life moves on.
Also love the growth of Meredith here.
Beautiful, hon! I can't wait to read these Advent fics by you!!! :D
:( Thanks miss. Izzie kind of has the same thing Veronica has for me, that it's really hard for me to imagine them happy, because we left them in such an off-kilter place. I want them to be, but...
Secondly, She doesn’t know how to make them grow past where they were in her mind. It’s admitting that she can never go back... PERFECT LINE/S IS/ARE PERFECT!
