In honor of Hurricane Irene, I'm staying in and having a cooking weekend. I've got gravy on the stove and meatballs in the oven right now, and when that's done, I'll be making a key lime pie for my dad for tomorrow. I am kind of jealous that you're doing all that cooking. I am far too lazy to cook on that scale.

My first choice for you would be Gossip Girl fic if you think you can put it off, because I think your POV on Blair/Serena and how that relates to their own mothers would be really interesting, but I would always take FNL fic from you.

My original plan was always FNL, but I'm still pretty fresh off my GG rewatch, so I've got lots of thoughts on the two of them right now (B&S).

With me and cooking, it's like, when I have the stuff, I *love* to cook, there is nothing I love better. But when the cupboards are bare? I'm always too lazy to shop.

I LOVE reading about your cooking. It makes me hungry and want to come visit. LOL.

I love three of those choices of yours a lot...but you should write whatever you feel most passionately about at the time. I find that makes things easier...but that's just me. :)

Hope you are doing well, miss!

I've been thinking about making a trip to Boston in the future...

And this is why I live in my own little GH world. It's a much happier place there.

As long as there is some Duncan/Veronica goodness, I'm all for VM.
Did I tell you that my stats professor at Cornell randomly came out as DV fan? I mean, what are the odds? ;)

Well, it couldn't really be *very* D/V focused, because it's supposed to be a gen piece, but...

Hehe. Stats. Odds. And how did this come up in class?

I think it was something about how to relate poll derived data (from TV surveys) to spatial statistics. And suddenly he got carried away how his son who is a film major made him watch VM and that he found the story brilliant and the show intriguing mostly thanks to Veronica and Duncan and their film noir-esque relationship.

ETA: And as if it hadn't been odd enough already he said something along the lines of "I just wasn't really taken by that Logan character."
