I've never seen Rocky. I'm willing to bet that this actually surprises you.
I'm not surprised by either of your answers for the shipping one, though. I'm more surprised there was ever a time you liked geek-gets-the-girl stories, to be perfectly honest. They don't seem like they'd be your thing, lol.
Actually, it doesn't surprise me. :) But...hmmm...I think that movie would actually surprise you a whole lot.

Well, they were never like, my *sure* thing. But I did totally love Seth/Summer, at least. That I know. And after that? NEVER AGAIN! Also...I thought I kept my JaSam love very private! The shame!
So this is going to be random, but I just watched a "Cold Case" episode based around the original debut of the Rocky movie. Sorry...just a random thought.
I actually did see Rocky in the theater. I was 5. (Seriously.) My summer camp went, and why they took the little kids (and why our parents let them) is beyond me. SO not appropriate for little kids.
For this same reason, I also saw Grease when I was 7. Also inappropriate.
LOL, I was probably around those same ages when I saw both of those movies for the first time. (And Dirty Dancing when I was like 6, and Rambo and Roadhouse...yeah, pretty much ran the gamut of rated-r's...)
All 'that stuff' kind of washed over my head then though...
And my mom did see Rocky in the the theater. Three years later guess who comes out? You got it. Adrienne. And I've suffered for 30 years. At least she spelled my name the French way, not the masculine way like in the movie!
I would die happy if I ever got to meet Billy Joel. I got to see him twice in concert - one during the Face to Face toe with Elton John and during his 12 Gardens run a couple of years back. I would pay muchmuchmuch money to see him again. Soooooo much freaking love.
Thank you re: my name :-) but after 30 years of hearing every single variation of "Yo Adrienne," it gets a little old LMAO though it is enjoyable to have a name that still isn't very popular, though I see it popping up a bit more as I get older. Makes me feel all special and elite LOL ;-)
Oh, and yes, the Expendables was awesome. I really wanted a longer Jet Li/Lundgren fight scene! at first I was like, really? Jet Li would jack his ass up in real life. Until I researched Dolph and saw he has a third degree black belt in karate and served as captain to the USA olympic pentathlon team in '96. Well plated, Stallone, well played!
