I'm the same way. Songs in their whole always seem to fit better than just snippets. Nice choice! :-)

And thanks for reminding me! First 2 chapters are here.... Mixed Signals. Working on Ch. 3 now. I'm not a great writer by any means, but I hope you enjoy it!
