Dating again

I had a date yesterday. I met up with a fellow from OK Cupid in Fullerton. We met at a tea place, but changed our minds and walked across the street to a different cafe. :) We have been chatting for maybe a little over a week, and he lives in Chino Hills. He is fairly attractive and seems intelligent enough. But over the course of our chatting here

Even bad dates are useful! It seems like you were able to identify a lot of qualities you do or don't want in a partner, and that's so awesome. Glad you made the leap to say yes to a date!

To relate my own recent experience... Personally, I find that I need to date social people but I also like to date those whose energy levels somewhat balance mine out. The fellow I'm seeing now actually made a comment the other day about how much more effusive I am than him, but not in a bad way. He's much shyer and quieter than me in general but he does go out frequently. Thus far it's worked out that we can go do lots of things, but being around him is relaxing and as a result I tend to call him up when I'm stressed. We don't have a ton in common but I find that as long as I'm dating somebody with passions I respect a lot (and vice versa) we can learn a lot and at least grow positively from the experience.

yeah.. it wasn't a bad date... just not very promising. I am trying to decide if it would be worth giving him another shot.. but honestly, he lives so far away that it doesn't seem worth it to be more than friends maybe.

I am glad you are seeing someone you are enjoying. :) it's super important to be able to enjoy time with a person, otherwise, why bother, haha
