The result is he's taking drinks here and there, likely in private, to cope. "And now with the worst domestic crisis in his administration over Katrina, you pray his drinking doesn't go out of control."

Sweet Christ, what is it going to TAKE to get this man out of office????????????????????????????

Oh, and,

Sorry. I don't buy it. Not unless he actually does have a voice deep inside that whispers the truth to him. Most drinkers do, come to think of it. They drink to shut the voice up. And his is saying to him (or at least it should be, IMOP) "Psst...George. Your little game of soldiers is KILLING people."

Here's a sick eye opener.
Back in the late 90's I was visiting with a nurse friend that works in neo-natal care. Bush came on the TV and she gasped and said..."Oh My God, NO, he looks like a fetal alcohol baby". These are the babies she takes care of day in and day out. This has stuck with me. Now take a long look at Mama Bush, I can see her knocking down a few.
