It does look pretty ballin...however, am I the only one who notices that there are shoulder flaps on the replicates, but not on the original? Sorry, I hate killjoys and yet I totally am one.

That's a very interesting observation. They have pictures of John wearing it on the site, which I deleted for the purposes of this post. Some have the flaps:

and some don't.

So maybe he either took them off at some point or had another very similar jacket.

I am SO into John's fashion, you have no idea.

I want his multi-coloured rainbow jacket (this) SO MUCH. Or the piece he wears underneath which someone drew quite vividly here

I agree with what you said about John's fashion. He always had such cool clothes. I love all those pieces you mentioned; the Walrus jacket is beyond amazing.

Why can't there be a store that sells nothing but reproductions of John's clothes? I'd be in there all the time. His clothes are so much cooler than mine. :3

I'm tempted to get one of those t-shirts that say "You Are Here" or "Bermuda" just like John's. They're around US$40 but at that's $320 less than that jacket, right? ;S

I just thought I'd pop in I auctually own two dresses (one a sun dress and on made of silk) that are very pyschdelic. The sun dress is blue with white swirls and the other being very very colourful.

btw, you should get the jacket if you can afford it. Opportunities like this are so rare to come about. If you get it please post a picture of yourself in it. Im kind of having doubts if i get it for myself because the jacket is obviously made for a man, and the sewing and all that is different than a womans normal jacket that would fit her frame instead of wearing a box. :/ pessimistic much?

I know exactly what you mean. I wouldn't really know what size to get; I want it to fit but not be too obvious that it's for a man.
