A vivid and slightly slashy dream...

Feb 05, 2010 22:59

Had it the other night, and I meant to post about it sooner, but a lot has been going on family-wise and I've been utterly exhausted. So, here it is....finally.

Beware....strangeness exists under the cut....but given whose LJ it's on.... )

That sounds like an epic yet completely strange dream, LOL. Totally what I'd expect with John around. That whole conversation in the beginning was hilarious about the children... and it doesn't seem that Yoko's presence was completely traumatic, so that's always good. I don't know what I'd do if she ever popped up in a dream of mine... ugh ( ... )

Yes, the dream was completely strange...and it was one of those that seemed so fucking real! I'm absolutely in love with lucid dreams and if I could marry them and have their lucid baybesh I would! lol. Particularly when reality is not offering much by way of positivity, y'know? But I'll try not to bitch, because someone somewhere is always havin' it worse. Still, it makes me fully know what John meant when he said that he often preferred the dream world to reality and added, "Who's to say which is more real, anyway ( ... )

Ahhh lucid dreams... the best kind, really. I usually do manage to have very vivid dreams, but it's only every once in a while where I have absolute free will over things to the point that I can change anything I want... those are the best. Of course I always found that having 100% control was something that took practice in awareness, and I've been slacking a bit there. I WAS trying this discipline that was supposed to make it easier to be able to astrally project, but I think it's my little bit of skepticism that's left that's causing me to get caught up. I do manage to have dreams where I can smell things in the air, taste things I'm eating, and feel touch... reminds me of the time I dreamed I was shot in the ear and woke up to have an inflamed and throbbing ear for no reason at all. Spooky, that.

As with your mum, I believe the ones we love and miss most sometimes visit us in dreams to keep us from missing them.I agree. I lost a friend of mine while I was in high school (he was 17 years old... really tragic story) and I was ( ... )

As for that machine that allows us to dream whatever we'd like, I think I may have figured out how it should operate; odd as it is, I can dream whatever I want, but the main ingredient is that I have to sleep at a particular time of day, like around one or two in the afternoon.I've managed that before, strangely enough... usually not EXACTLY what I want, but I can usually at least zero in on a specific person if I'd like to. I think it depends a lot on what I'm doing/thinking before I fall asleep too. Normally I never dream about what's in the forefront of my mind, but Paul seems to be different for some reason... if I'm browsing through my picture folder or listening to one of his albums before I pass out, there's a good chance he'll pop up. I just wish it was a more flawless process, you know? That's where the machine would come in :P You could program a time, a place, an action, and a partner... and then all of a sudden the world's population would spend its days wasting ( ... )

It was a most delicious dream. Sorry I had to wake up, but I'm really glad to have had it. lol. The only thing would have been better was if I'd stayed sleep long enough to see John and Paul together in it. :D

Maybe next dream. *le sigh*

My theory is that John made sure you woke up before Paul came over. You know... "It's been fun, luv... nice talking to ya and all, but Paulie will be here any second... gonna have to close the door to dreamland on ya... What follows is kinda private-like, see?"

Why, the sneaky lil' bugger....thwarting my attempts at J/P voyeurism. Damn him. :(

He might also have been worried about you getting hurt if you were close by as the J/P-lust was unleashed by them laying eyes on one another... those two might have taken your eye out or something what with their rampaging passion running wild and blinding them to any and all surroundings.

Now, this is a bit more acceptable...his concern for my safety...though I couldn't think of a better way to get injured than by accidentally being in the vicinity of hot, wild and passionate John/Paul lovin'. I just adore it when those boys get all randy and rough...*hyperventilates*
