Ohhhh, what a treat this is! I loved Dean's dogged determination that Sam will be OK, and then seeing how destroyed John is at the thought of losing Sam. Wonderful (and if you have a chapter 2, I'd sure like to read some more ;)

Thanks so much! There's a lot more to this story and I'm not sure if I could bear leaving it unfinished. No one can go without oxygen for that long without some lasting damage being done, right?
