things lenny can't get out of her head.

I love music. I'm sure you've realized that by now, as I'm preparing to devote my life to it. Sometimes I'll get discouraged and question where I'm headed, and then I'll hear a song that reminds me why I'm busting my ass to get C's. I've been fortunate to be exposed to some lesser-known music though, thanks to being a DJ at a college station, ( Read more... )

SC's Leaving came out earlier than that. I agree with you on the Panic! cd, it's very innovative. I just have trouble liking bands that kick out original members, for no apparent reason. But I'm curious to know what FOB songs you have listened to. FUCT was very mainstream and quite different from their EP and first album.

yeah it did, but sadly i didn't discover it until my senior year. one of my friends had what she called a 'punk' mix cd, and she'd listen to it pretty much every day as we drove home. good charlotte was on it, and one of our other friends said she liked soco a lot better. so i went and downloaded it and fell in love!

i've heard quite a bit of FOB, including some of their earlier stuff. it's just not for me. except dance dance gives me a seizure! it's fun, but it makes me totally nervous.

You said senior year of COLLEGE in your post, that's what I was meaning. I'm pretty addicted to the new FOB cd, although I'm sure next week it'll be Jack's again.

if you're looking for some music, there's a ton more everyone-must-haves that i didn't include... not to mention a lot of stuff that i'm into right now. here's some of that-

Rogue Wave - Eyes
M. Ward - Poison Cup
Ok Go - Oh Lately It's So Quiet
Annuals - Fair
The Reindeer Section - You Are My Joy (which is Gary Lightfoot from Snow Patrol!)
Andrew Bird - Lull
Incubus - Anna Molly, and Here In My Room
Guster - C'mon (I'm obsessed with this right now!)
Jesse Harris - If You Won't
Marc Broussard - Hope For Me Yet

There's more, but I'm sure that's enough. :) I lovie you too!!!!!!!!

I was looking in iTunes for new Ben Folds stuff and discovered that I own basically everything he's ever done.

If you like Mirah, have you listened to "Words Cannot Describe"?

Also, Matt Costa's "Ballad of Miss Kate" is excellent.

From the ones I know - Great List! From the ones I don't, I'll have to check them out for sure. I love all the Veronica influences ;) But that show has the best music, and so eclectic, not like Greys or OTH or some other shows that always have the same style.

And not quite in the same lines, but the main music that I love and you don't have is Michael Buble. I love everything he does hahaha... I don't know if you know who that is but you've probably heard his covers in movies and stuff, but if you like stuff like that I'd definitely reccomend him. And his main non-cover song "Home" is amazing.

Veronica really does have awesome music. They had been slacking a bit this season, but it's getting better again. Not to mention, that last episode was hilarious!

The only thing I know about Buble is that I like to say his name, and my Gramma is into him. I think my mom likes him too? But if you do, that's good enough for me, I'll check him out. :)

So hillarious. And Barenaked Ladies music! ;)

Hahaha well I actually went to his concert with my mom and my grandma lol! I'm not quite sure how to explain it... maybe it's just because all the skaters use his music too, but everytime I hear any of his songs I smile and start bobbing my head along.
