In the Quiet of Night

A quick note because every spare minute I dive into The Goblin Queen for rewriting.  I need to finish it this week and I'm just getting to the tangled parts where characters who were written out in the beginning appear again.  I'm through the mad adrenaline rush where it was all exciting.  It's still fun, but I also hit moments where the words are

congrats on getting so much work done! is your husband around to take care of Anika for you??? NICE! i didn't get anything done over the weekend, but hopefully this evening I will. carry on! cant' wait to read it!

Sorry it's a little while writing back- you know how that is :)

Darling daughter is helping me a lot with my "homework" (a throw-back to the MFA days). DH has also been helpful with giving me space. The timing for me is working out since I'm not working now and I feel a lot more rested (hooray).

I didn't get that much done over the weekend, either. I think my pace this week is about 25 pages a day and I'm coming up on the roughest . . . oldest drafts . . . yikes :)

Can't wait to read your story, too! Keep rocking on!

25 pages a day is a lot! That's great!!
I stayed up lllaaaate last night and am on p. 147 revised, which i sent off to agent s. for review--i hope i'm cutting enuf or bulking enuf or whatever--if i could write all day everyday, i totally would. funny huh? i'm so glad you're family is supporting you! so is mine. d and e are being great--and in-laws are coming next week. oh, if you and anika would like to come down, how is july 12-15 in there sometime? d will be backpacking and it would a fun time to gather!
