Sitting in the shadow of lovely Red Mil House birdwatchers' paradise veranda with bins & camera... Third day here, with top birding around (though haven't seen Casuaries yet, but saw the Papuan Frogmouth this morning, see next post ;-)) Few photo's for you all.

Nice pictures! A shame that the Cairns reserve was closed.

The Cairns reserve??? They don´t have any - I wrote that some areas were closed because of the wet season (roads indeed flooded + landslides); the croc farms that we thought of for birding were closed just because it is private enterprise and they do what they want, legal right not to have strangers around ;-)) So no complaints at all.

See few posts of later today, we had great birding anyway ;-)
